Social Responsibility

We recognise the importance of having an honest and open relationship with our community stakeholders, customers and employees. Such relationships could promote positive social and economic changes to develop a social responsibility strategy that adds value to the Port’s business development activities and to the community of Samoa and throughout the Pacific region.

Therefore, before any major projects are considered, Samoa Ports Authority takes responsibility to hire and engage consultants and specialists to first assess all the impacts of and activities against all aspects of society, the community and the environment.
